deployed outrage” to benefit their corporate clientele.
These political consultants and big-money backers are selling “crazy, disprovable, but
nevertheless endlessly stoked conspiracy theories that health care reform is communism,
that it’s a secret plot to kill your grandpa, that it’s a government takeover, it’s something
called Obama-care. It’s going to mandate abortions. It’s going to mandate sex change
operations.”
